As if their current run of terrible form and the sacking of club legend Roberto Di Matteo wasn't bad enough, Chelsea fans awoke this morning to a frankly terrifying Avram Grant-related report in the Daily Mail, concerning Roman Abramovich's alleged next move at Stamford Bridge:

Now, if Abramovich does actually see Avram Grant dishing out advice "as a possible solution" to Chelsea's current ills, he is absolutely right to fear that his judgement is flawed.

Fortunately for fans of the reigning European champions, however, a Chelsea official has informed talkSPORT that there is 'no truth' in this story.

Sadly for the non-Benitez believers among the Chelsea faithful, there's no truth in our pic caption above, either.
