Liverpool fans... feast your eyes on that bad-boy line-up above, because in two months you could be watching these players trying to fire the Reds back into top four contention.

Reports today have linked former Champions League winning midfielder Xabi Alonso with a move back to Anfield, while long term targets Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge are tipped to make the short journey up to Merseyside from their respective London clubs.

All top sides need strength-in-depth, and Brendan Rodgers' would also be able to call upon youngsters Joe Allen, Raheem Sterling and Suso, who could learn from the newcomers as well as providing stiff competition for starting places.
