After Arsenal's pitiful exit to fourth division Bradford in the Capital One Cup, there's little doubt that the Gunners need to make some signings in January and the Arsenal Supporters' Trust have been assured by club officials that money is there to be spent. Gooners could be forgiven for tempering their optimism, however, as it's hardly the first time Arsenal have made noises about having money to spend, only to sign duffers. And, lest anyone forget, Arsene Wenger is the man who missed out on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and signed Francis Jeffers instead.
