Liverpool's Monopoly, Guess Who's Chelsea next manager? Plus more football board games

Apparently Liverpool's foreign stars are playing Monopoly to learn English - no, not Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher - and avoid more language blunders like the one in which one player thought his team-mates were calling him a melon during training when in fact they were shouting "man on".

After establishing that there was nothing wrong with the size of his head, the unnamed player apparently saw the funny side to the comedy mix-up and is now one of a group of foreign Reds playing the game and has apparently put up a number of hotels on Brookside Close, next to Mick's pizza parlour.
