There is not much separating the bottom few clubs with bottom side QPR on 14 points and and fifteenth-placed Southampton on 21, who have Newcastle, Wigan, Aston Villa and Reading between them. As the clubs fight it out for Premier League survival, we have run the rule over the transfer targets they believe will help them avoid the dreaded drop.
