Liverpool's embarrassing FA Cup exit at the hands of Oldham highlighted some pretty big deficiencies in Brendan Rodgers' squad and could be the catalyst needed to force the Kop boss into some last minute transfer dealings.

With the window set to close on Thursday evening, time is running out for Rodgers to bolster his squad. The Northern Irishman has made just one addition this month, despite previously claiming that he needed to bring in a handful of players to lessen the burden on his tired stars.
