Brendan Rodgers' assertion that his Liverpool squad needs 'another three or four quality players' has prompted wealth of speculation over who the Kop boss could bring to the club this summer.

With Jamie Carragher set to retire, and question marks hovering over many of his current crop, the Rodgers Revolution is beginning to take shape.

“There is no doubt there is a natural rebuilding that will come with the likes of Jamie Carragher retiring,” he said. “It is quality we are after, not quantity. We see Coutinho and Sturridge's quality in January, if we bring in another three or four players of that quality and add that to what we have got then we will have a strong squad.”

Liverpool's resurgence in recent weeks has seen them touted as potential European candidates in 2013, but with the real target considered to be a top four finish next season, the Reds will have to recruit quality fitting of that standard if they are to crack the current monopoly held on the Champions League spots.
