Football - sorry, soccer - has been growing in popularity in the US for years, but while the MLS is improving and crowds are impressive for America's domestic league, the lure of the Premier League (aka 'the EPL') is strong.
That applies to shirt sales, with North American football fans snapping up the shirts of their favourite clubs and players just like English supporters. Sporting iD - the company who have produced names, numbers and sleeve badges for licensed Premier League kits since 1993 - have ranked the most popular shirts so far in the 2012/13 season, based on sales of official player names and numbers to all North American retailers.
