Arsenal have been linked with many goalkeepers, including Asmir Begovic, Pepe Reina, with Petr Cech being the latest, as rumours that Szczesny needs some quality competition gather pace.

There are many ways to judge a goalie, but surely how good they are at saving attempts on goal is the key criteria? Goalkeepers playing for struggling clubs are more likely to have more saves to make, while 'keepers for teams that defend well will have a better chance of keeping more clean sheets, so we've opted to look at those men with the best save percentages, in order to allow for the relative strength of their club. All statistics are correct up to 20 March 2013 and apply only to goalkeepers who had appeared in 10 Premier League games or more in the 2012/13 season by that date.
