Former Blackburn striker Kevin Gallacher gives his thoughts on the club's decision to move for Michael Appleton.

The 36-year-old has been given permission by Blackpool to talk to the Ewood Park outfit, just two months after taking charge at Bloomfield Road.

"They have tried two young managers, Steve Kean and Henning Berg, and it hasn't worked out. Now they are going for another young one. I thought they would go for an experienced man," Gallacher said, speaking to the Sports Bar.
