Welsh football writer Phil Cadden claims Danny Graham, who is also a target for Sunderland and Norwich, wants to link up with Newcastle, his boyhood club.

The Swansea star is set to exit the Liberty Stadium in the January transfer window after falling out of favour with Swans chief Michael Laudrup.

Sunderland and Norwich have submitted bids for the 27-year-old but Cadden claims he would much prefer a switch to St James' park, should the Magpies express an interest.
