talkSPORT's Italian football expert Kevin Buckley says Mario Balotelli 'has not lived up to expectations' at Manchester City after the Premier League champions agreed to sell the striker to AC Milan.

Balotelli has regularly courted controversy since arriving in Manchester at the age of 20 and Buckley says, on reflection, he came to England too early.

And Buckley believes Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri will struggle to tame the temperamental striker.

Speaking on the Sports Bar, he said: "If Mourinho and Mancini couldn't get the best out of him, then can Allegri, who is only in his second season at Milan?"
