Neil Ashton on the Benitez-Terry bust-up

Daily Mail football reporter Neil Ashton joined the boys on the Sports Bar to reflect on the training ground bust-up between Chelsea interim manager Rafa Benitez and his captain John Terry.

According to Ashton, the Spaniard was unhappy with some of Terry's dressing room comments following Sunday's defeat to Manchester City, and chose the first training session after that Etihad setback to voice his dissatisfaction.

The situation then escalated into a verbal dispute between Terry and Benitez, with Ashton believing the former England captain has the backing of his team-mates.

Ashton also feels that, if Roman Abramovich fears Chelsea are in danger of failing to finish in the top four this season, he could even dispense with Benitez' services and bring in his third manager of the campaign.
