Former Reds winger John Barnes becomes the lastest name to add his support to under fire Anfield boss.

He told Drive Time: "I don’t think Kenny has to win the Premier League to be classed as a success.

"If Liverpool finish in the top four, that would be a great season, to say that Liverpool need to win the league is unrealistic.

"When you look at the squads that are around, Liverpool should be fighting for fourth or fifth place. To want Liverpool to win the league is unrealistic.

"Kenny is up to job without a shadow of a doubt."
