Cross: Southampton's sacking of Adkins defies belief
Daily Mirror journalist John Cross joins Drive Time to give his reaction to Southampton's decision to axe Nigel Adkins and replace him with unknown Argentine Mauricio Pochettino.
Adkins led Southampton from League One to the Premier League with back-to-back promotions and leaves on the back of an impressive 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Cross, who was first with the news of Adkins' sacking, said: "To do it at this moment in time defies belief."
