Levene: Lampard's future at Chelsea uncertain

Dan Levene, Chelsea FC writer for the Fulham Chronicle, tells Extra Time that midfielder Frank Lampard could be set to leave the club.

The England international has not been a regular in the starting line-up for the Blues this season. Although fit, he was left on the bench for their 3-1 Club World Cup win over Monterrey as defender David Luiz started in midfield.

There are currently no contract negotiations taking place between the 34-year-old and Chelsea which could signal an end to his time at Stamford Bridge.

Levene talks to talkSPORT about the fact that Lampard does not want to leave the West London club but may have no option but to move on.

But Levene believes captain John Terry does still figure in Chelsea’s plans and should be at the Premier League outfit for one or two more years.
