Goalkeeper David Martin said that Mk Dons had the confidence to believe they could beat a beleaguered QPR side.

The League One side beat the R’s 4-2 at Loftus road to add their names to the FA Cup fifth round draw.

Martin said: “We went there with a game plan and stuck to it. I think it was the team and the individuals that enabled us to win.”

He continued: “The gaffer – Karl Robinson - gave us a game-plan, two banks of four when we’re under the cosh, and then break quickly.”
