Luton Town captain Ronnie Henry admitted he hopes their FA Cup win against Premier League opposition will spur the side on to gain promotion from the Conference.
The Hatters created history when they became the first non-league club to beat a top-flight team in the Cup since the creation of the Premier League.
Henry said on Football First: “The team worked their socks off for a whole 90+ minutes. I’m happy with the performance and delighted with the win.”
Their 1-0 win over Norwich City, see the club go into the draw for the fifth round. Scott Rendell grabbed the winner in the 80th minute.
“That moment when Scott put it in the back of the net it was unbelievable. Especially, with all our family there and the great Luton support. The 4,000 of them, that came to the game.”
