Dean Bouzanis spoke to Football First about his part in the goal that gave Oldham a replay against Premier League Everton in the FA Cup.

Four minutes into injury time, Matt Smith scored to take the fifth round tie to 2-2 and book the replay at Goodison.

The goalkeeper said: “I knew I couldn’t get my head onto it so I tried to make a nuisance of myself to put someone off behind me. It was great that Matt was there to nod it home.”

“At 2-1 down our threat through Matt was his height and strength. We were trying to be effective that way with 15 minutes to go. It’s just great that we had another corner and nicked the draw.”
