Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Villa and Spain-based journalist Lowe told H & J: "He's clearly already thinking about his future and I think it’s very likely indeed that he will leave in the summer.

“He could be a great signing for an English club, assuming he is fully fit and the kind of player he was 18 months ago.”
