talkSPORT's man in the north East, Graham Courtney, claims Demba Ba is certain to leave Newcastle in January when the transfer window re-opens.

Ba has scored 10 goals this season but he and fellow Senegal international Papiss Cisse have failed to impress as a partnership.

"It's looking pretty certain that he will be on his way," Courtney told H & J. "Even though he is the club's leading scorer by far, it's become more and more evident that Ba and Cisse cannot play up front as the two strikers."
