Mick Dennis, Daily Express journalist and amateur referee, joins H & J to give his view on Luis Suarez's controversial goal during Liverpool's win over Mansfield in the FA Cup third round clash.
Suarez handled the ball on the way to scoring his side's second goal in the 2-1 win over the non-league side and Dennis admits he couldn't vote for him to be Footballer of the Year because of his long list of misdemeanours.
"The Football Writers' Player of the Year is meant to be an exemplar. I couldn't vote for Suarez on that basis. He has too many indelible stains on his reputation," said Dennis.
