talkSPORT's French football expert Julien Laurens claims Loic Remy wasn't interested in relegation fight with QPR and his most likely destination is Newcastle United.

The Marseille star has been linked with a switch to the Magpies since the previous transfer window and a bid of between £8-10million should be enough to land the 26-year-old.

Queens Park Rangers looked have secured Remy's services but, whilst the Ligue 1 side agreed a fee with the west London club, the striker rejected the chance to join up with Harry Redknapp's men.
