Daily Telegraph reporter Henry Winter reflects on the weekend's Premier League action, with the top two of Manchester United and Manchester City both victorious.
City ran out 2-0 winners over Arsenal, who now sit 14 points behind Roberto Mancini's side and 21 points behind leaders United.
And Winter, speaking to Hawksbee and Goldstein, said the Gunners are in need of stronger characters to start challenging at the top again.
"They lack leaders," he said. "There is some exceptional technical talent there but if you look around the team you are thinking 'who is going to drag us out of the mire when we are 2-0 down?'
"Wilshere is a terrific leader... he has that personality and that little bit of devil in his game. But Arsenal need more of those type of characters."
