Rumsby says West Ham near Olympic Stadium deal

Ben Rumsby believes that West Ham United are close to doing a deal for the Olympic stadium.

The Daily Telegraph journalist confirmed that a positive meeting took place between the Hammers hierarchy and the London Legacy Development Corporation.

He said: “The LLDC board will discuss the proposals at meeting next Tuesday. There are still minor issues to be ironed out, but the club are confident.

“The biggest issue West Ham has, is taking the plan to their fans.”

Rumsby added: “The club are very confident about going to their fans and telling them what a fantastic deal they have managed to get.”
