Jay Tabb admits it will be a big challenge for his Reading team-mates to beat Manchester United in tonight’s FA Cup game.
The clubs meet for the first time since their seven-goal Premier League thriller at the Madjeski stadium in December 2012, which United won 4-3.
Tabb said: “To me, Manchester United are still the biggest team in the world.
“They are so professional and they do everything in the right way. The FA Cup is still a big competition and if Sir Alex Ferguson sees his team having a chance of winning it, then he’ll put out a strong team.”
But after some surprise results over the weekend, the midfielder knows you cannot predict anything in the Cup.
He added: “If you look at the FA Cup this year, there have been a few upsets so maybe we can cause one tonight and get into the quarter-finals.”
