Martin Allen insists he has no problems getting his team to communicate with each other.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp complained recently that players don't talk to each other any more and spend too much time with headphones on.

But Allan makes sure his players make time for each other.

He said: “We have a big box of board games and, on the Monday night before we played York, after dinner the players spent three hours together. None of those headphones

“We played all the board games together and it was great fun. We got people communicating, and getting to know each other.”

And Allen must be doing something right as the Gills currently sit top of League Two, two points ahead of Port Vale and nine ahead of Burton Albion in third.
