Darren Gough
Darren Gough was one of the most revered England cricketers of all-time. Before calling time on his career in 2008 and joining talkSPORT, Goughy specialised in terrifying opposing batsman, nowadays it is more likely to be housewives after stints on Strictly Come Dancing and Hole in the Wall.
A true Yorkshireman, Goughy played almost his entire career for his beloved Yorkshire - apart from 2 seasons teaching a certain Mr Ronald Irani the art of the reverse swing at Essex.
Goughy has never been shy of the limelight, and was thrust into the mainstream when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. His will to win shone through, as well as an all round ability never shown in his cricketing days, as he won both the main show and the Christmas Special.
Goughy played over 50 test matches and 150 ODI's for England becoming the first Englishman to take 200 wickets in one-day internationals – despite this he describes football as his first love, even though he is a Spurs supporter! He had trials with Rotherham and Barnsley in his youth but opted for cricket when he realised there was less running involved.
