Mark Saggers has more than 30 years broadcasting experience, initially starting out at BBC Radio Cambridgeshire before joining BBC Radio Sport in 1989.
He won a Sony Radio Academy Award in 1993 for his report on the false start at the Grand National before becoming senior sports correspondent at Sky, launching the UK’s first ever sports news programme on TV.
He returned to the BBC to present 5Live’s Sport in 2001 before joining talkSPORT in 2009. He can be heard gearing up for the day’s football every Saturday and Sunday morning on the Weekend Sports Breakfast, and he also regularly presents evening show Kick Off.
