Stan Collymore

Stan 'the man' Collymore is one of the most talented footballers of his generation and now one of the most talented broadcasters on the airways. Stan started his career with Stafford Rangers before moving to Crystal Palace and Southend but it was at Nottingham Forest where he finally found his feet.


At the City Ground he gained an England debut and secured an £8.5 million move to join Liverpool’s Spice Boys. In his first season with The Reds he became a kop favourite by netting 19 times and helping them finish third in the Premier League.


In 1997 he made a £7.5m move to Aston Villa and became only the third Villan to score a hat trick in Europe. He finished his career with Leicester, Bradford, Fulham and Oviedo in Spain.
