Former England striker Tony Woodcock admitted he thinks that Pep Guardiola’s decision to manage Bayern Munich is a good move for the club, the Spanish manager and for the Bundesliga.

Many expected Guardiola to take a job in the Premier League, before he made his decision to take over from Bayern’s current boss Jupp Heynckes. The former West Germany manager will retire in the summer.

Woodcock believes that the tradition already at the club will be of benefit to the former Barcelona player as he takes on his first job since leaving the La Liga club last season.
