Graham Courtney, talkSPORT's man in the north East, reflects on another defeat for Newcastle on Monday night.
The Magpies suffered a 2-1 reverse at Fulham to leave Alan Pardew's side 14th in the Premier League.
And Courtney said a big part of their problem is Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse's misfiring strike partnership.
"They just do not seem to be linking well up front, which is a bit of a concern," he said. "They both want to play through the middle and that can't happen, so one becomes the scorer, one becomes the playmaker and I don't think they are happy about it."
