Courtney: Tiote has been appalling for Newcastle this season
talkSPORT's north east correspondent, Graham Courtney, reflects on Newcastle's 2-1 defeat at home to Everton on Wednesday night.
Alan Pardew's side are sitting just two points above the drop zone and Courtney claims Cheick Tiote has been the biggest disappointment for the Magpies this season.
"He's off to the African Nations Cup but I think most Newcastle fans will hope he doesn't come back because he's been appalling," he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
