Bosnich: Man United can't afford to take their foot off the pedal

Former Manchester United star Mark Bosnich claims Liverpool's second-half performance, during the Red Devils' 2-1 victory on Sunday, shows Sir Alex Ferguson's side must improve their showings.

The north-west side beat the Reds at Old Trafford as they strengthened their grip on top spot in the Premier League table.

But it could have been different had Brendan Rodgers’ side not been so wasteful in front of goal in the closing stages of the match.

The result means Manchester United maintain their seven point lead at the top of the table - whilst Liverpool remain eighth.
