Nursey: Lerner is still behind Lambert at Aston Villa
The Mirror's Midlands reporter James Nursey claims Randy Lerner is backing Paul Lambert to be at a success at Villa Park - even though the club are in a run of dreadful results.
The Villans have dropped into the bottom three after their 1-0 Premier League loss to Southampton on Saturday.
And Nursey claims the American owner has given Scottish boss Lambert the tough task of reducing the wage bill at the club - and will back him until that job is completed.
