Leading cycling journalist Neal Rogers, the editor-in-chief of website Velonews, admits he found it hard to believe some of Lance Armstrong's answers during his interview with Oprah Winfrey, particularly the claim he was clean when he came out of retirement in 2008.

Rogers said: "I find it very hard to believe he didn’t dope during his comeback. Everyything after that [in the interview] you had to take with a pinch of salt and, given his background, it was far from the transparent confession we thought we might see."
