Collomosse: Tottenham are foolish not to have bought another striker

Evening Standard journalist Tom Collomosse claims Tottenham are foolish to have not bought another striker in the January transfer window.

Spurs pair Jermain Defore and Emmanuel Adebayor have only had makeshift striker Clint Dempsey for company at Andre Villas-Boas' side this season.

And, while the Togo forward is away at the African Cup of Nations, the north London club look short of options up top, leaving Collomosse to believe the decision not to sign a hitman could come back to bite the Portuguese manager.
