Journalist for Radio Marca, Juan Castro, claims David de Gea was the pick of the Manchester United players during their 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League. 

The pair met in a Round of 16 first-leg tie at the Bernabeu, with both teams having to settle for a single goal.

But the star of the piece was young Spanish goalkeeper De Gea, who pulled off a number of top saves for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side during the encounter in Madrid.
