talkSPORT's Merseyside correspondent Graham Beecroft claims Philippe Coutinho looks an excellent addition for Liverpool. 

The young Brazilian was impressive during 5-0 victory over Swansea in Sunday's Premier League fixture and Beecroft, who watched the game for talkSPORT, believes Brendan Rodgers has pulled off a smart piece of business. 

“Philippe Coutinho was very bright all the way through," he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

"His positioning was good, his control was excellent and his understanding of the game was also very impressive.

"He looks as well that he could be a real asset to Liverpool."
