Coleman: European football will suit Swansea City
Wales boss Chris Coleman has backed his hometown club Swansea to be a success in the Europe League next season after they qualified for the competition by winning the Capital One Cup on Sunday.
Michael Laudrup's side thrashed League Two Bradford 5-0 at Wembley to earn the club their first major trophy and a place in Europe.
"It's a different style of play in European football but, with their philosophy and style of play, I think they will suit it," said former Swans star Coleman. "I think they can do well next year, especially if they keep Michael Laudrup."
