talkSPORT's Merseyside correspondent, Graham Beecroft, claims striker Nikica Jelavic is a shadow of the player that Everton bought - and needs to start scoring more goals.

The Croatia hitman has failed score since the 5-1 victory over Cheltenham at the start of 2013, and cut a forlorn figure up front during the 3-1 FA Cup fifth round replay win for David Moyes' side against Oldham.

And Beecroft, who covers the region for talkSPORT, believes the 27-year-old must start to earn his wage at Goodison Park.
