Audley Harrison has told talkSPORT he is going to shock the world when he meets David Haye in Manchester in November.
But Harrison doesn't care what his former friend and sparring partner says or thinks and is promising to shine on the biggest night of his career.
He told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: "I’m going to shock the world once again. I know David Haye better than he knows himself, and what he thinks is going to happen in this fight is not going to happen.
"At some point my left hand will connect with his chin and it’s over.
"Everyone knows David’s got a suspect chin and that I’ve got a big left hand. And at some point in this fight he’s going to taste that and it’s over.
"We know each other well. He’s going to try to be like a thief in the night, hit me, get away and take no punches. But he will have to take some. This is not going to be a fight where he walks away with no cuts and no bruises.
"When I land my left – not if – Audley Harrison is going to shock the world."
Harrison insists he has the skills and the boxing know-how to fulfil the promise he made when he won Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000 that he would go on to become heavyweight champion of the world.
He added: "David''s not learned how to fight. He's got a great talent and that’s taken him a long way. But he’s still got the same amateur trainer. I’ve worked with teachers who’ve taught me the game.
"I’m a student of boxing and there are many ways to make David have a really hard night in there. I’ve got the skills and tricks. This is brains over brawn. I will use all my advantages.
"I’m the first heavyweight he’s fought with speed and a punch. This is not a mismatch. This is my destiny.
"People think it’s the David Haye show. It’s not, it’s the Audley Harrison show. This is the completion of my journey."
