Exclusive – Warren: Chisora will have too much power for Haye

Frank Warren has told talkSPORT that Dereck Chisora has enough firepower to defeat David Haye.

The pair clash at Upton Park on Saturday night in a heavyweight bout that has been dubbed ‘Licensed To Thrill’.

And although Haye goes into the fight with as the bookies' favourite with a better reputation and more experience, Warren reckons there is going to be an upset on the cards.

“David Haye has come in at the lightest he has ever fought as a heavyweight which tells me he will be using a lot of speed and there will be openings but I can’t see him coming forward because Dereck is a tough, aggressive fighter,” Warren said.

“He’s a young guy and I just feel that Dereck will take the fight to him and at some point David will have to stand there and trade blows with him.

“If he does that we know Dereck has got a good chin, we know David is a good banger but David has been on the floor on a number of occasions and I feel that that is where he will come undone, I feel that Dereck will enough firepower to stop him.”
