Johnny Herbert believes Lewis Hamilton will resist the lure of Red Bull and remain at McLaren next year.
The British driver was seen talking to boss, Christian Horner, at the Canadian Grand Prix earlier this month and reports had suggested he could be ready to link up with Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull.
But the former F1 driver has claimed Hamilton’s blood is in McLaren and he expects the former world champion to remain at the Woking based team.
Speaking to the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Herbert said: “I’d be surprised to be perfectly honest but you never know.
“He’s very hungry for success and the Red Bull car is the one you want to jump in to but I don’t see a move.
“His blood is in McLaren and I can see that carrying on.”
