Under fire Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez said his side deserved to progress to the FA Cup semi-final after a 2-2 draw with Man United at Old Trafford.
The Blues were staring into the aybss after just 10 minutes with goals from Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney.
But some expert reshuffling and tactical changes saw Eden Hazard's screamer and a Ramires strike ensured the holders remained in the hat.
Benitez said: "We played good football, in the first half we made mistakes but still we were doing well.
"In the second half we were much better we were on top of them and I think we deserved to win. Today you could see the commitment."
In the final few minutes Chelsea could even had won it was it not for an inspired David De Gea save from Juan Mata.
And the Chelsea gaffer added: "The idea was to use the space behind them and we were doing really well.
"We were pushing until the end and we had very clear chances and I think we deserved to win."
If Chelsea progress they will face Man City in the semi-final.
