Pulis: England should take Crouch to Euro 2012
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis believes Peter Crouch should be going to Euro 2012 with England after netting his tenth Premier League goal of the season in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The Potters signed the 31-year-old from Tottenham for £10million last summer and has consistently found the back of the net in all competitions.
And his manager believes his performances for the club should be enough for him to claim a place in the Three Lions’ 23-man squad for the tournament.
“[Ten goals] is enough for him to be on the plane [to Poland and Ukraine],” said Pulis.
“If he doesn’t get on the plane, I won’t be disappointed. I’ll be surprised because he has been that good for us.
