Fulham made it through to the final round of qualifying for the group stage of the Europa League with a 2-0 win over Croatian outfit RNK Split.
The Cottagers drew 0-0 in the first leg of the tie in Croatia but it was far from a tight defensive performance at Craven Cottage for the reverse fixture.
It was Duff the provider this time as his corner was glanced home by Andrew Johnson to give Fulham lead.
Just after half-time Ante Vitaic’s free-kick went close for the Croatian side but the Cottagers were able to double their lead 10 minutes after the restart.
A clumsy challenge in the penalty area from Velimir Vidic gave captain Danny Murphy the chance to slot home from the spot, which he gladly took.
Andrew Johnson thought he’d made Fulham’s progression certain when he netted again but his effort was ruled out for offside.
Fulham now await Friday’s draw for the final qualifying round of the Europa League.
