Palace step up bid to sign striker permanently
Crystal Palace will increase their efforts to make Everton striker James Vaughan's three-month loan deal a permanent signing.
talkSPORT revealed earlier this month that Everton would not stand in Vaughan's way if they received an acceptable offer for the 22-year-old and he Eagles are now prepared to make a bid for the youngster.
Vaughan scored a hat-trick in Palace's 4-1 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday night and George Burley is keen to offer the forward terms having been impressed with his attitude since signing from Goodison Park.
