Reading decide not to let Mikkel Andersen join Portsmouth on loan
Reading have decided to keep Mikkel Andersen at the club and not sanction another loan move on the final day of the emergency window.
The goalkeeper impressed while on loan at Portsmouth this season and earned two extensions to his temporary contract at Pompey.
Thursday is the final day clubs in the Football League can arrange loan deals but Portsmouth have failed to persuade Reading to allow Andersen, 23, another spell at Fratton Park.
Meanwhile defender Angus MacDonald has been sent on loan to Torquay United.
