Watford confirm Zola as their new manager

Watford have confirmed the appointment of Gianfranco Zola as their new manager.

The former West Ham boss, 46, has signed a two-year contract at Vicarage Road as he replaces Sean Dyche who had his contract terminated this week.

"Everyone knows how Gianfranco Zola likes football to be played," said Watford's Technical Director Gianluca Nani on the club’s official website.

"I think Watford's fans can expect an exciting and attacking style from his team. Gianfranco represents this project perfectly."
